St. George Chiropractor Dr. Mark Bentley

"Simply put, I was stuck."

St. George chiropractor, Dr. Mark Bentley and family"I knew that I wanted to be a part of the healthcare community, but the idea of being a medical doctor didn't seem to fit. During a trip to visit my older brother, I spent a day observing his work as a chiropractor . I was amazed that so many health issues could be resolved using the body's own ability to heal itself! I knew from observing this natural approach to healthcare, that I had found the perfect fit."

A Chiropractic Education

Dr. Bentley began his pre-chiropractic studies in Mesa, Arizona where he studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses. After completing his study there, he was accepted at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During his four years at Palmer, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Palmer College Public Clinic. Dr. Bentley graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2006. His dedication to his education has carried over to the care he provides to his patients.

Patient Education

"Through my education and experience as a chiropractor, I have gained deep respect for the body's natural ability to heal itself. We make it a point to share this knowledge, answer questions and attempt to over communicate. Patients appreciate that."

On a Personal Note...

Although he loves his patients, Dr. Bentley's favorite people to spend time with are his beautiful wife, Lori, and his four children. Time at home often involves sword fights, piggy-back rides, and eating great food with his family.

How come medical doctors don't recommend chiropractic?
That's changing. Years of prejudice and bias are giving way to research showing the benefits of chiropractic care. As more and more St. George folks seek alternatives to drugs and surgery, more and more medical practitioners are referring their patients to chiropractors.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
